Master Classes

Mr. Ricci will teach a Master Class at the Montecito Summer Music Festival July 23-24, 2008.

The mission of the Montecito Summer Music Festival is to mentor a new generation of musicians and to honor great masters who have brought joy to lives of others through music. The Festival is proud to announce that they will honor Mr. Ruggiero Ricci and Mr. Abram Shtern in their inaugural season. They will conduct master classes and give private instruction to students while we pay homage to their great musical talent. In addition, students will have the rare opportunity to help celebrate Mr. Ricci’s illustrious career and his 90th birthday during the festival.

There will be documentaries on Mr. Ricci’s life along with a planned book signing of his new book, “Ricci on Glissando.”
